Appointments
Booking is available on-line as part of this website using the AQUITY application— a fully secure and regulated program, all information held there-in is secure and for the Barber’s use only. Upon booking you may open a profile using your email which will be used to communicate any promotions, specials, event invites, or additional information related to appointments, policies, etc.
Appointments may be booked up to 45 days in advance using a CREDIT CARD (all accepted). Credit card information is secured within each client’s individual profile and used at the Barber’s discretion in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. Credit card payments are processed using the SQUARE application — a fully secure and regulated program, all information held there-in is secure and for the Barber’s use only.
NOTE: the Barber’s time is valuable and to book an appointment is to agree on full payment for that time taken regardless if the service is performed. Each client’s commitment to punctuality ensures quality of service for themselves and all others.
All clients are held fully responsible for booking accurately and communicating any questions, concerns, or issues that may impact the service. Appointments may not be booked without a credit card, however, we understand that some clients (of advanced age or some mental or physical impairment) may not prefer to or are unable to navigate the on-line process; we will make necessary accommodations for that client’s needs pending discussion.
Appointments Continued: Please read the date and time selection carefully. Note: The first available date may not be the following day(s) as I am often booked up to 1 week in advance.
Add-ons: when selecting an add-on service you must check the box which will then add the service to the total price and may increase the time-slot as needed — most services require an additional 30 minutes. Be sure to read the appointment summary carefully before booking appointment(s).
Cancellations: Clients may cancel or reschedule up to 1 hour prior to the appointment (see email confirmation for details — may be delivered to junk-mailbox).
Late arrival: We hold a strict 5 minute cut-off for all services and charge 50% of the service total — clients are responsible for rescheduling.
No-call/No-shows: 100% of the service total may be charged but clients are given until the end of the appointment duration to make contact by email (info@bricktopbarbershop.us) as to avoid a full charge — no more than 50% and remain an active client. Note: once an appointment is booked the client is fully responsible for communicating anything that may impact the service. NO EXCEPTIONS unless otherwise discussed.
Shop Conduct
We hold a zero-tolerance policy against any behavior deemed disrespectful, inappropriate, dangerous, destructive, or illegal. Absolutely NO drinking, smoking, or vaping inside or outside within 15 feet of the shop entrance. Entry or service may be denied if (excessive) intoxication by any substance is reasonably suspected. Recreational marijuana (in all forms), illegal drugs and outside alcoholic beverages are NOT ALLOWED.
*Legal firearms registered as conceal/carry with the State of Illinois are allowed on shop premises. Possession of firearms should be disclosed to the Barber before entry and start of service — you may email us at info@bricktopbarbershop.us or disclose this information as part of the service notes while booking the appointment. Firearms must remain holstered and out of sight for the entirety of your visit. Barber reserves right to deny entry or service if firearms are handled in any way that violates State Law — please use common sense and courtesy. CCTV security cameras are in use inside and outside of the shop at all times — WE WILL PROSECUTE.
Note: this is a family-friendly environment and it is expected all who enter do so with the utmost respect for themselves and those around them — NO EXCUSES.
We use complete discretion regarding any (personal) information you disclose through our booking app, payment app, email, text, phone, and any in-person communications.
